Who we are

A large Vietnamese manufacturer that only makes construction panels

Phuc Khanh Plywood specialises in premium film-faced plywood and anti-slip plywood for concrete formwork, construction and flooring. No furniture lines, no side products: every press, glue line and film roll is set up for panels that go back into the mould again and again.

We run two factories in Chi Linh, Hai Phong, in northern Vietnam, including a modern plant that started production in 2026. Together they ship up to around 2,000 containers, about 90,000 m³, a year. Europe comes first; we ship worldwide.

  1. Built for the pour

Film weight, glue and core are chosen for repeated concrete contact, not for appearance in a showroom.

  2. Fully certified

CE under EN 13986, FSC® chain of custody, ISO 9001, CARB P2 / TSCA Title VI and an EUDR geolocation dossier.

  3. Volume you can plan on

Two factories give the capacity to run repeat orders and multi-container programmes.

The panels

Two families, one purpose: concrete that comes off clean

The formwork panel

Film-faced plywood

A smooth phenolic film on both faces over a hardwood core, with sealed edges. It releases cleanly from fresh concrete and leaves an even, fair-faced finish on walls, columns and slabs.

  • Wall and column formwork
  • Slab decks
  • Fair-faced concrete

The panel you can walk on

Anti-slip plywood

The same strong core with an embossed film face that grips under boots and wheels. Used for scaffold and walkway decks, platforms, trailer and vehicle floors, and other industrial floors.

  • Rice pattern
  • Wire mesh
  • Hexagon

Film-faced plywood

Every layer chosen for the next pour

A film-faced panel is only as good as what sits under the film. We build ours from Acacia or Eucalyptus core veneers, bond them with melamine (MUF) or phenolic glue, press on a dark film and seal all four edges so water stays out of the core.

Anti-slip plywood

Three patterns, each with its own grip

The pattern is pressed into the film, so it is part of the panel, not a coating. Pick it by what will cross the surface: boots, trolleys or wheels.

  1. Dark brown anti-slip plywood face covered in small raised rice-grain embossing

    Rice pattern

A dense field of small raised grains. Even grip in every direction and easy to sweep: a common choice for scaffold boards and walkways.

  2. Dark brown film face embossed with a fine crossing wire-mesh pattern, an amber edge in the corner

    Wire mesh

Fine crossing ridges like woven mesh. A classic for vehicle and trailer floors, where wheels and pallets turn on the surface.

  3. Close view of raised hexagonal honeycomb embossing on a brown anti-slip plywood face

    Hexagon

A honeycomb of raised hexagon cells with a textured centre. Strong, even grip that stays readable even after years of traffic.

Anti-slip panels have been independently pendulum-tested in dry and wet conditions. Ask for the report that matches your pattern.

Anatomy of a panel

What an 18 mm film-faced panel is made of

Thin veneers laid at right angles to each other, glued and hot-pressed into one stable board, then faced with film. Cross-laminating is what keeps the panel flat and strong in both directions.

  1. Phenolic film

Dark resin-impregnated paper, pressed on both faces. Takes the concrete contact.

  2. Face veneers

Smooth hardwood veneer under the film so it lies flat with no telegraphing.

  3. Core veneers

Acacia or Eucalyptus, laid crosswise layer by layer.

  4. Glue lines

Melamine (MUF) or phenolic, chosen for the reuses you need.

  5. Sealed edges

Water-resistant paint on all four edges keeps moisture out of the core.

Glue and reuse

Choose the glue by how many pours you need

Glue is the biggest single choice in a formwork panel. Melamine (MUF) is the efficient choice for shorter cycles; phenolic is for long programmes where the panel goes back into the mould again and again.

Melamine (MUF) glue

about 12–15 reuses

Cost-effective for shorter programmes and single-use projects with a few pours.

Phenolic glue

up to about 25 reuses

Weather- and boil-resistant bond for long programmes and repeated stripping.

Reuse counts assume proper handling, a release agent on every pour and sealed edges, including any cut edges.

Sizes and thickness

Standard sizes, any thickness from 9 to 40 mm

Most of our panels ship as 1220 × 2440 mm or 1250 × 2500 mm. Custom sizes are made to order. Thickness runs from 9 mm to 40 mm; these four are the everyday formwork thicknesses.

Where they work

From the first wall to the last slab

  • Wall formwork of dark film-faced plywood panels in galvanised steel frames next to a smooth finished concrete wall

    Wall and column formwork

Panels in steel or timber frames for straight, smooth concrete walls and columns.

  • Slab formwork deck of dark film-faced plywood panels on beams and props with rebar laid on top

    Slab decks

Panels on beams and props form a flat deck for floor slabs; the film keeps the soffit even.

  • Flatbed trailer floor decked with dark brown hexagon-pattern anti-slip plywood in sunlight

    Floors and platforms

Anti-slip panels for trailer and vehicle floors, scaffold boards, walkways and stages.

On site

Five habits that reach the full reuse count

The panel brings the film, the glue and the sealed edges. These site habits do the rest.

  1. Release agent, every pour

A thin, even coat of release agent before each pour stops concrete bonding to the film.

  2. Seal every cut edge

Paint any edge you cut or drill the same day. Water entering a bare edge is the main reason panels fail early.

  3. Strip, don’t pry

Use wedges or proper stripping tools; a crowbar on the face tears the film.

  4. Clean while fresh

Brush or scrape concrete off right after stripping, before it hardens on the face.

  5. Stack flat and covered

Store panels flat on bearers, off the ground and out of direct rain and sun between uses.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask first

What does Phuc Khanh Plywood make?

Construction plywood only: film-faced plywood for concrete formwork and anti-slip plywood for floors, decks and platforms. We do not make furniture plywood.

How many times can a film-faced panel be reused?

With proper handling, a release agent and sealed edges, melamine (MUF) glue panels give about 12–15 reuses and phenolic glue panels up to about 25.

Which thicknesses and sizes do you make?

9 to 40 mm thick, most often 12, 15, 18 and 21 mm; 1220 × 2440 mm, 1250 × 2500 mm or custom sizes.

Which core do you use?

Acacia or Eucalyptus hardwood veneers. A 40HC container takes about 47 m³ of Acacia-core panels or about 43 m³ with Eucalyptus core.

Which certificates do you hold?

CE marking under EN 13986 (factory production control 0407-CPR-2146), FSC® Chain of Custody (SGSHK-COC-370674), ISO 9001, CARB P2 / TSCA Title VI, PPWR testing by SGS, and an EUDR geolocation dossier.

What is the minimum order and lead time?

One 40HC container. Production takes 15–45 days after the deposit, depending on quantity.

Which trade terms do you offer?

FOB Hai Phong, CFR or CIF. Payment is a 30% deposit and 70% against the B/L copy, by T/T or irrevocable L/C at sight.

Where are you located?

Our two factories are in Chi Linh, Hai Phong, in northern Vietnam. Containers ship through Hai Phong port.
